Looking sharper than the razor
Used to chisel your face
She's flying down, flying down
Got a box for tomorrow
And a bag for today
And you'll bring her down, bring her down

Fifteen sixty-seven and some brandy shots
One hand in your pocket and one cutting the rocks
You'll do it nice and easy
Cuz you don't sweat when it's breezy
But she'll feel the chill tomorrow

Your god ain't here to see this
There's no one who will stop me
I can do what I want
When I miss what I like
Don't show me who's wrong or right

She's tall and sleek from France
Makes you burn in your chest
You'll follow down, follow down
She'll take your suit and use it
Like the gold in her nest
And then burn you down, burn you down

You'd never get caught thinking when you're having fun
Russian dolls can take it, you don't live for one
It feels so nice and easy
Because staying home is cheesy
And you feel the heat tonight

Your god ain't hear to see this
There's no one who will stop me
I can do what I want
When I miss what I like
Don't show me who's wrong or right

She'll be there to see you
Gold will turn to rust
Cuz you get torn apart
When you don't have a heart
And you can't fulfill your trust

Seven thirty AM and she opens the door
Take your business and go, you don't live here no more
Take the perfume and the drinks
Go have all the kinks
But I don't need you tonight
Okay, story time! This is based off of something that actually happened to me.

I work in a fudge store in a mall. Recently, it has been slow and few people come in because it's an outdoor mall placed in rainy-of-rainy northwest Washington. One day, this man walks in dressed in a really fine suit, probably worth more than all the money I've ever earned in my life. He tells me he needs me to make two gifts for him, a piece of fudge in a box and a piece of fudge in a bag. He was going to check something out in a another store for a moment, but he wanted it ready when he came back, and to ensure his return he left a shopping bag on the counter. I prepared it and when he came back, I asked him what it was for as I rang him up. The man told me that one gift was for his mother-in-law, who was flying in that evening from Russia. The other one was for a French attorney he was thinking of having an affair with.

I was shocked at being told something like that. I didn't need to know those details, and I wish I didn't. But that isn't the strangest part.

He handed me a crucifix pin, saying he'd just picked it up and thought I should have it. As a devout atheist, he wouldn't be caught dead with it, but I looked like I would like it. With that he left and I wished him a good night, still not sure what had just happened.

So what do I do? Write a song about it. Of course....
